Field Trip#2 Estero Bay Historic Cottage and Matanzas Pass Preserve

I thought the field trip to Estero Bay Historic Cottage and Matanzas Pass Preserve was fantastic. I thought the history of the Cottage and Matanzas pass was very fascinating. The history lecture gave me a much clearer picture in my mind of what Forty Myers would have looked like when it was first colonized. The walk that we took after the lecture was great also. I enjoyed seeing many of the plants and animals native to the area.
